Experiment 4: Analogous Colors

This is my fourth experiment. I decided to do another float because I actually like making the floats! This time I decided to make it analogous by putting in a splash of green. I then drew out a jelly fish on card stock, used a green marker then went over it with some alcohol then I cut it out with an exact knife and glued it on the background.

Experiment 3: Monochromatic

For my third experiment I basically did a float by mixing different shades of blue and letting them drip all over the paper. It was messy but quite fun! After drying I decided to go for an aquatic theme so I painted a blue seahorse to keep it simple.

Experiment 2: Triadic Colors

For this second experiment I used red, yellow and blue paint (triadic colors) and used a bit of water to make it runny. I then put Saran Wrap over the painting while it was drying to give it a cool effect. I then cut a small piece of the painting and put it over small piece of board and wanted to keep it simple and paint three different flowers to match with the background.

1st Experiment: Complimentary Colors

Here is one of four experiments. I used liquitex along with red and green alcohol ink. Once it was dry I took it off from the plastic sleeve and put it on a small painted wood board and I decided to use more of the green and red alcohol ink on the board to make it look like it was dripping off.
